And that's so awesome that it rained all day; I totally get the loving-the-rain thing (especially when you fall asleep and hear it on the roof...) so it's so cool that you had that on Christmas. That sounds like a great plan. Have fun with your second Christmas! That's good that you don't have to shovel anymore. And snow definitely isn't the most important thing, but it helps to set the mood of Christmas a lot more. Merry Christmas, Heather! A couple years ago on Christmas it was so warm that my parents made us go outside and do yard work (ugh). But, this year, it snowed. Still, perhaps snow is not the most important thing... Anyway. Merry Christmas!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16797485444727976121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902120443627257365.post-10113173880505434942016-01-03T05:25:52.568+10:002016-01-03T05:25:52.568+10:00I feel you here, since I just moved to a warmer st...I feel you here, since I just moved to a warmer state after spending years and years in Maine where it snows pretty much every Christmas (although, it's funny, because this year Maine didn't have a white Christmas either, so I wasn't really missing out). In Virginia, it was so warm I was a little disappointed that we weren't even going to have a cold Christmas. But then it started to rain really hard for the rest of the day and that made me really really happy because I am madly in love with rain. So it was a great Christmas after all. And my sister and I are planning on having a second Christmas. We're pooling our money to buy me a MacBook since my Dell is a dinosaur, and I'm going to buy her something cool, and when we get our first snow fall, we'll have a second Christmas.

I actually don't miss the snow as much as I thought I would. We had massive snow falls last year and I had to shovel most of it, and it was really frustrating because I have a bad back and it got a lot worse last winter. So yeah, I'm pretty happy with no snow, at least none that I have to shovel. Liz Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15823595869843889438noreply@blogger.com
