Also, football (not soccer ;) is quite popular.

I used to watch a lot of Premier League, World Cup, The Euros, Champions League and The African Cup of Nations. And I think it's difficult to root for professional teams sometimes because it's not your neighbour/friend/roommate/whatever playing. It's just some random dude. That's my opinion, anyways.

Ha, I could see how that would get confusing! Well, I hope you guys destroy them in battle and wash the floor with their blood. (Actually, no, don't do that. Please. But feel free to peacefully beat them in your next competition.)

To be honest, I still have no idea what's going on with the other sports. Football, basketball, and baseball are probably the biggest ones, although I would personally add hockey in there.

I have difficulty rooting for professional sports teams unless they're really local. But I do enjoy cheering on my college teams, especially the hockey team.

We have several big rivalries in our area. My college has a gargantuan rivalry with another school in our state, mostly because we get mistaken for them all the time and we're somewhat less well known. (My school is "[state name] State University" and the other school is "University of [state name]").

This was a fun post! I watched a movie about rugby once, but I wasn't familiar with the other two sports you talked about.R.M. Lutzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07225038858127086583noreply@blogger.com
