About
My name's Victoria, and I am a getting-there writer, an I-don't-have-enough-time-to-read-everything reader, an I-don't-have-a-clue-what-I'm-doing blogger, an I-have-a-love-hate-relationship-with-math nerd, an in-my-spare-time photographer, a person living-in-and-simutaneously-in-love-with two countries and an I-will-never-see-everything-in-my-lifetime traveller.
I am a lover of all things with words, superheroes, explosions (which tend to go hand in hand), long walks on the beach, writing, music, imaginary worlds, numbers, quiet evenings (and brackets).
Currently, I'm in various stages of writing several books (because I don't understand the theory of working on one project at a time) in a wide range of genres under the YA umbrella including science-fiction, fantasy, contemporary and spy. You can find out more about my projects on my "Writing" page.
I am also a shy introvert who will be your worst nightmare if you ever manage to get me talking. (I have trouble learning when to stop rambling about things that mean a lot to me.) Because of that, I decided to start a blog so I could talk without being interrupted, and it seems to be working pretty well so far.
You can find my advice/struggles/thoughts on writing, book and movie reviews as well as my thoughts on what it was like to move from Alberta, Canada to Queensland, Australia on this blog.
I can be seriously random, strongly opinionated and a bit nerdy, so you'll have to bear with me as we voyage through the endless oceans of my mind.
Find me on Facebook at The Endless Oceans of my Mind. (And I have a Society6 store! Check it out if you've enjoyed my photography or just feel like supporting little ol' me.)

Hey Victoria! You left a comment on my blog so I randomly wandered over to yours. It's AWESOME. I've followed by email and can't wait to read more of your posts. I'm a lover of all the things you mentioned above....Except numbers. Numbers and I are mortal enemies. =) Anyway, keep up the awesome work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Hannah! You just made my day!!! Hahaha, numbers and I have a love/hate relationship so it's always interesting. Thanks for stopping by, and I really enjoyed your post!
DeleteYou live in australia too! Welcome!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Australia is pretty amazing :) Thanks for commenting/visiting!
DeleteWow, living in Australia must be awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteYep, can't complain. Thanks for visiting my blog!
DeleteI have no idea about how to join your Google Friends followers list? Every time I try to join, it doesn't work. It keeps telling me to come back.
ReplyDeleteI'd tell you, but I honestly have no idea. I'm not even sure if I've joined? Do I have to sign up or something? Because I haven't :/
DeleteHello, Victoria! Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog!! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of your blog it's so peaceful.
It seems we're a lot a like, except for the love of numbers, because, no, just no. ;P
I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts!
Hi Gray Marie! Sorry, I missed your comment somehow. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting, I always appreciate new (and old) faces around here. Thank you, and likewise!
DeleteHi Victoria! I just found your blog, and I love it! It's so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Madeline! Thanks so much for stopping by!
DeleteSo I saw a comment you'd left on a post by Gray Marie, and checked out your Blogger profile. Well. Queensland? QUEENSLAND? I know of literally one other blogger in Queensland, who lives somewhere in the north. But judging by your posts on Marcia (...I'm not a stalker [mostly], but I saw the post tag and had to check it out...), you must live in approximately the Central Queensland area too??
ReplyDelete*coughs* (am I being creepy/weird? sorry?)
Anyway. Hi, Victoria! I'm also a writer/reader, fan of superheroes and Owl City (+ LotR and Artemis Fowl), and introvert who'll ramble awkwardly. I've been blogging for a year. And I'm pleased to meet you.
- Jem Jones
DUDE YES QUEENSLAND! (*dies of heatstroke*) Hahaha, yep, I live in CQ. (Although that's the only info I'll give out in case my arch nemesis tries to track me down...)
DeleteAs long as you don't pass my approximate location onto my enemies, we're all good :)
Hi Jem! Oh my goodness, I think we just became best friends. I am very pleased to meet you as well. *extends a virtual hand*
(gotta watch out for those arch nemesis/internet goblins...)
Delete*shakes virtual hand firmly* *but with a goofy grin*
